What if this year’s National AccessAbility Week became more than a moment of awareness? What if it became a turning point?
Inclusion isn’t built on good intentions. It’s built on action. It’s built when communities choose to listen, to collaborate, and to design spaces where everyone belongs from the start. Across Canada, people are stepping forward bringing empathy, lived experience, and determination together to challenge barriers and reimagine what accessibility can look like. Because when we remove barriers, we don’t just support individuals we unlock potential, innovation, and shared prosperity.
In Windsor, that momentum is already growing. We are creating spaces for ideas, innovation, and inclusive collaboration during Access Ability Week.
- National Access Ability Week (NAAW) takes place every year starting on the last Sunday in May. It is an opportunity to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities. It is also a time to recognize the efforts of individuals, communities and workplaces that are actively working to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion.
